About
SPADE Indexes LLC develops and manages sector, thematic, and regional equity indexes that can be used to benchmark markets.
Our flagship product is The SPADE® Defense Index, a modified capitalization-weighted index comprised of publicly traded companies that benchmark the performance of firms systematically important to defense, national/homeland security, aerospace, and government space. With historical data back to 30 December 1997, it covers all aspects of the sector…infrastructure as well as services, IT and cyber activities, and support; adapting to changes in military strategy, activities, and philosophy. Index values are distributed by NYSE/ICE Data Services under the ticker “DXS”. The Invesco Aerospace & Defense ETF, designed to track the SPADE Defense Index, trades under the ticker “PPA”.

- Licenses are also required by organizations selling commercial products tracking or based upon this Index.
